Deion's Bio:
Deion N. Dorsett is a native of Baton Rouge, LA, and graduate of McKinley Senior High. During his time at Southern University - BR he earned two baccalaureate degrees in Economics and Finance, a Masters of Business Administration, former SGA Vice President, and founder of the Southern University MBA Student Association (SUMBASA). Deion is a life member of the Southern University Alumni Federation, SUAF-Houston Chapter, and McKinley High Alumni Association. He is the founder and immediate past National Chairman of the Southern University Young Alumni Network and former SUAF board member.
Deion continues to serve Southern University as a member of the SU National MBA Advisory Board. Deion is employed as a Senior Equal Opportunity Specialist for the United States Department of Labor where he investigates and remedies systemic discrimination in companies with federal contracts. Deion currently serves as the President of the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals and board member of the Houston Area Urban League. He is a proud father, devoted son, and community servant.
