MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY 101

One of the few good things to come out of COVID is that we have learned how to network in virtual communities.

After a really interesting virtual conversation about the growing “skill gap” issue in manufacturing, it became glaringly evident that we need more collaboration between senior and junior level professionals. More professionals are retiring, higher skills are being demanded, and less people are coming to fill in the gaps.

On Thursday, October 22nd I joined a panel of industry experts in an effort to share our maintenance and reliability experiences. We also took a few questions from the audience. The panel hosted by UpKeep and “The Maintenance Community” included:

  • Over 100 years of manufacturing experience.

  • Diverse professionals from different backgrounds and industry sectors.

  • A group of leaders who are passionate about helping the next generation.
