What does Women's History Month mean to you?
It is a time to reflect on the contributions of women not only those whose names we all know, but also the mothers, sisters and daughters whose sacrifice has allowed the women of the present to be successful in all aspects of life.
Stephanie was born in New York City and is of Ecuadorian heritage. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a graduated from University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Stephanie has worked in Oil & Gas for various Fortune 500 companies as an Engineering Intern, Field Engineer, Process Design Engineer, and Project Manager since 2007. She has also has managed capital projects greater than $12M.
In 2017, she founded Technically Minded Talent (technicallymindedtalent.com), a recruitment firm that connects Engineers to career opportunities. Stephanie is a firm believer in lifting others as you climb and guiding fellow Engineers on their journey to locate their next career move...this is VERY fulfilling to her. She is also heavily involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) in where she has served for 14 years, and has supported FIRST Robotics as a mentor. Stephanie is married to another Chemical Engineer and has 2 boys, ages 4 and 1.5 years old. Her family now resides in Huntsville, Alabama.
