About Dacia
Dacia has been at Atlanta-area resident since she began college at Clark Atlanta in 1996. After earning her Bachelor's, she pursued her lifelong passion of teaching for 19 years, earning awards along the way for her stellar practices. She opened Dacia's Designs as a part-time business in 2019. In reaction to a health scare, Dacia decided to pursue her business full-time so that she could have more control over her schedule and her bank accounts.
Dacia also is the founder of Melanin Mompreneurs, a growing community of women of color who are both mothers and entrepreneurs in need of a safe community to learn, grow, and re-energize. Dacia is a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful children.
